Im in SA Researching my Direct MORRISSEY Line from Co Tipperary
Am in a Bit of A quandry with one of the MORRISSEY Girls who i think Married 3 Times. Mary was born Circa 1842 in Tipperary, The Family Came here to SA in 1854
MARY MORRISSEY Married JOSEPH DOWDAL(FAther JOHN DOWDAL) on 30 May 1866 at St Marys Church Morphett Vale
Joseph Dowdal Died whilst out Bush a Few Yrs later
She then Married...George TAYLOR....Have been unable to Find their Marriage
Children were
1...Georginie Mary Taylor..Born 25 April 1872
2..Michael Thomas Ralph Taylor...1875?
3..Ralph Mitford Taylor...30 Jan 1875
Have been unable to Find anything more on these Children

Found a Marriage Also of a MARY MORRISSY...to a James Charles EDWARDS...21 Feb 1881...at Registry Office in Adelaide SA
James Charles EDWARDS Parents being...EDMUND STREET EDWARDS and LOUISA SMITH DICKENS

Tho Mary Morrissy is listed as 29 on the Marriage, Yet she was born circa 1842, and her parents were both Irish Catholics, Strange she married in a Registry Office?

On a Baptism here with one of the KIMPTON KIds at Morphett Vale in 1889 , who connect to the Morrissey Line, Find a MARY EDWARDS as a Witness
Is anyone researching these MORRISSEY/DOWDAL/TAYLOR/EDWARDS line ..As would love to hear from them, to try sort this Genealogy Puzzle out
