Bette--I have a John Baker [my Grandfather] born 1868 ?? in S.A.?? to a
James Baker ?? Married to a Catherine McDonough on 29 April 1891in Port
Adelaide. They had a son Joseph born 1893.I have quite a lot of info on the
McDonough side but not much on the Baker side ---John

Could SKS check out the name JOSEPH HENRY BAKER born abt 1851 father Alfred.
On records we hold he claimed he was born in South Australia and married a
Caroline Newbold on 15th March 1876. I am housebond minding grandchildren
for
a few days and unable to get to resources. Even finding him coming to South
Australia would be wonderful.
