Thankyou everyone who replied to my query



I now know Quambi was a Nursing Home, then Maternity Hospital, which makes
sense as my aunt from a wealthy farming family was born their. I know this
family though farmers or station owners had a property in Adelaide, I once
visited it with my aunt who called it the 'town flat' though it was to me a
rather lovely old home, the family had owned it yonks as she and here
siblings lived there when at school and her parents stayed there when in
town
