Hi

Wow, what a great way to start the year!
Would you mind looking up the surnames ANGEL and ALCHIN (possibly
ALLCHIN)?

Thanks

Dianne

Subject: CLARE AND DISTRICT CEMETERIES

Hi! Everyone

Several years ago, I purchased in Clare a publication entitled" The
Paths of Glory lead but to the Grave: Early History of the Cemeteries of
Clare and District" by Eric H H Tilbrook ("Clarion") in the Northern
Argus, 1949. It was compiled by the Clare Regional History Group. It
contains heaps of copies of articles and cuttings mentioning local
families. I used it the very day I bought it to find a grave which I
had totally overlooked in the White Hut Cemetery near Clare (due to it
being overgrown). The index is very good. Nothing is in electronic
format though.

If anyone thinks they may have a relative mentioned in the book, let me
know and I will check it for you.
