I read the correspondence regarding William
TUCKFIELD and Constance CORNELIUS with
considerable interest. Their eighth child,
Richard William TUCKFIELD married Elizabeth Hannah
HARRIS, who I believe may have been the daughter
of Robert HARRIS and Ann PRESTON, but the
introduction of the name Elizabeth confuses the
issue. I have the details of the later HARRIS
connection if this is the same lady, but need to
delve more into this. I would love to exchange
information with you to get to the bottom of this
part of the mystery.

Have been onto IGI and do you think I can find the
marriage for William
Tuckfield and Constance Cornelius! I am assuming
- at this stage - that
Constance is Richard's sister but can't connect
her legitimately until I
find the little rascal's birth or marriage!

Also cannot find a marriage for Joseph Tuckfield -
plenty of children to
Grace Hawke though! Thirteen in fact!

I checked all the others in Cornwall and came up
trumps - now all I need is
to connect them to my already 3 part Cornelius
family - I know they all
fit!!
