Hi!
We have ancestors in the Horner family tree who were stone masons in SA. Mr. Nathan Horner (b. 1839 arrived SA 1854) worked in partnership with his father-in-law Mr. Saunders and built various structures in the Coromandel Valley. We know of one bridge that he built that still exists today. This is mostly known by through family stories handed down, but confirmed by local history & council records.
