Hi All,
I'm just starting to take up my research on some of my SA lines after a
break of about 2 years. I've got a copy of 'Sources for South Australian
History - 2nd Edition' by Andrew Guy Peake which has noted some items that
I'd like to look into a bit more.
However, the book makes note of a couple of major libraries and I'm not sure
now, which name relates to which library. To top it off, as my old bookmarks
have been outdated, the info pages where related to areas of interest to me
previously are no longer relevant.
1.) Could someone explain where I find the Mortlock library? Is it (like the
Battye library in WA) a locally based collection, within the State Library
of South Australia (SLSA) building?
2.) How do I go about finding a possible reference number for a relative who
worked with the SA Railways, when the SA State Records isn't taking
enquiries for most of 2003 and part of 2004?
Regards,
Donna McAleese
