Good afternoon List

gee I need some advise on this one Please

my Dad has some old papers and diaries
on the papers from around 1801 is the name

VARKER
and many children etc

on some marraiges there names are spelt
VARCO / VARCOE

on some deaths and births have
VERCO / VERCOE

and on pictures dad has from funeral deaths etc
the name on the picture is VERCO
I know names can change over the years
but
how do and which name do I claim to be the right one ?
