Hi Folks,
Not quite South Australiana.......
I have a ancestor who owned a livery stable and he has been described as owning and driving a drag. Can anyone suggest a website describing wagons/carts/drags and hopefully I will be able to view a picture?
"Picnic parties, rifle, football, and cricket teams can make special arrangements for drags and coaches, while the general public will be suited with any vehicle and the best horses obtainable."
" Chas Gardiner has commenced Business at Sandstone (WA), and now has a magnificent plant in both centres. Drags, Coaches, Buggies, Sulkies, Hacks etc on the shortest notice. The horses are always in the pink of condition, fast and reliable, while the Vehicles are all of the best makes obtainable in the state."
TIA
