My long-lost ggg-grandfather James HINCH is still lost. I cannot find his
death record anywhere - it would be early to mid 1850's - probably in SA.
The latest story is that he was killed by an aboriginal spear whilst on a
gold escort. I checked with the police historical society in SA and drew a
blank. Can anyone please advise if there are any records of personnel
involved in the gold escorts?
