I'm on the hunt again for information, this time for a firm of solicitors who managed
the burial and business of my relative who died in 1976. I've located Centennial
Park Crematorium (thank you) and found his ashes were delivered back to the Funeral
Home and they have given me the 1976 name and address of the Solicitors - Genders
Wilson and Partners, 123 Waymouth Street, Adelaide who handled his affairs and took
delivery of his ashes.

Can anyone tell me if this solicitors practice still exists, or how I can find out
who would have their client records if they operate under a different name or gone
out of business (or retired). I am trying to locate where my relatives final resting
place is, and who the family member was that organised it all. He was a widower and
his only child was too ill to handle the affairs. I would appreciate (again) any
assistance as to where to enquire next.

May I say, without this list and its very helpful members, I would still be miles,
sorry, kilometres away from where I am today in discovering my South Australian
branch. I'm way over on the east coast of NSW and the assistance you wonderful
people have given me has led to very successful discoveries. Many thanks to
everyone. If you would like any assistance in the way of the Hunter Valley or New
England areas of NSW with cemeteries or with Newcastle Crematorium records (which
cover a very wide area being the only Crematorium north of Sydney), I would be only
too happy to do lookups. Even general knowledge questions, especially about the
Maitland/Hunter Valley area are very welcome. I've lived here all my life (45 years)
