I am also researching the PECK family line from Goolwa, SA. JAMES PECK (c.1830 - 1911) came to South Australia in 1852 with a wife, LUCY SLATER(c.1830 - 1877) and one son, WILLIAM JAMES(1851 - 1875). I don't know as to which ship the had sailed on or from where. Can anyone help me with this, please? James & Lucy stayed in Adelaide for a couple of years and had SARAH(1853 - 1928) & EMILY(1857 - ??), They then moved to Goolwa, SA where upon they had another daughter, CATHERINE(1859 - 1925). James was employed as a stonemason and did a lot of work on buildings, etc, that are still standing in Goolwa today. I am after the death date & place of Emily and if she married and had any children, also if James PECK remarried as Lucy(his wife) died when only 47yrs old. There is a family plot, apparently at Currency Creek, Goolwa, SA where the son, William, Sarah & her husband, John James SPENCER(1845 - 1929) as well as Lucy are buried. Catherine PECK married Francis Joseph MATULICK(1860 - 1939) and both are buried at Renmark, SA. Also, needed is the burial place for James Peck. If anyone can help me, please, I would appreciate it very much, Thank you,
Regards, Robyn
