Hi Listers

My great, great grandfather, William Solomon Chapman attended "The South
Australian School of Mines" and was later employed by the School of Mines as
an Assayer and Analyst. Would anyone know where I could find information on
his connection with the school, i.e. records/papers, workings, merits etc?
I also believe there is a Chapman Gully located somewhere south of Adelaide
and was wondering if this was named after William. Any responses would be
greatly appreciated.
