Subject: [AUS-SAGEN] Re Approaching research in South Australia

Appreciate advice on approaching research in South Australia.
I am hoping to visit South Australia in the next couple of months and I
am interested in finding out how I should be preparing for my visit.
I have been told that you are able to actually copy details from
certificates, not something that I think that you can do in Victoria. We
can only apply for them from BDM.
. How many certificates are you allow to copy in one day?
. What years are available?
. And where do I go to do this?
. Do you have to make a booking ?
. Is there any charge?
I am a member of South Aust Gene Society.
. Where do I go to view Shipping records, probates, wills etc?
. How to I approach this?
. Has the new South Australian CD been released yet?
I know this is a lot of questions, but I am sure that there are others
who would also benefit from the answers.
Many Thanks
