According to Philip Woodruff's book, 'Two Million South Australians',
Adelaide 1984, the South Australian Cancer and Consumptive Home was
established in 1885 and the Kalyra Sanatorium in 1895. The latter survives
but with a different role, run by the James Brown Memorial Trust. I'm not
sure where the former was located, it was taken over by the Morris Hospital
in 1931 at Northfield (recently restored).
