Hi Colleen
My husband's grandmother, Jane CURSON nee Tadd Davies died 7 Feb 1866 and was
buried in a very old cemetery in Goolwa. When visiting S.A. about 10 years ago,
we were taken there but could not find exactly where the grave was. I have an
idea there is a more modern cemetery there. I can't remember how large the old
cem. was. Her husband, George Frederick Curson , had a foundry in Goolwa and
built paddlesteamers. His 3 sons became engineers. There is a house called
Curson Cottage which is in the Historic Places Trust which he had built in 1867
and there is a lane diagonally across the road called Curson Lane.
Best wishes.
