Hi Jill
Could I please take you up on your kind offer to lookup some info in the
book you have on loan.

My interests are with some passengers on the John Renwick arrived SA in 1837

John RENDALL & his wife Mary Ann (my great, great grandparents)
I gather they had a baby boy in June/July 1838, I am also looking for a
female child born prior 1842.
John Rendall obtained one of the 1st publican licences in 1838. Any mention
of this person & family would be appreciated.

Also on the John Renwick, was a Johanna Gunther (Mary Ann Rendall's sister)
and a Thomas Newman.
these people subsequently married. So again if there is any mention, then I
would appreciate your knowing

thank you for your kind offer
Regards

Good Morning All,

I have on loan, for the next couple of weeks, a book called 'South
Australian Records Prior to 1841' by E. A. D. OPIE. It includes some
passenger information, land grants, marriages, early settlers amongst other
things.

I am happy to look up information for anyone who's interested.

Regards, Jill
