Subject: Joseph YOUNG from Cumbria, UK

Joseph YOUNG and his wife Mary Jane nee TOPPING embarked at the Port of
Plymouth, UK, on 19 June 1852 on the 'Sultana' with their three
daughters,Maria 8, Emily 6, Jessy 3. He became Secretary to the Trinity
Board, Port Adelaide, and died 16 Sep 1854, aged 38 years. His wife,
Mary Jane, gave birth to a daughter, Teresa Caroline, March 1854. I
believe Teresa Caroline married James Thomas TYLEY, and they had a son,
Walter Joseph TYLEY April or May 1885 at Angaston, S.A. Any more
information would be appreciated. (The Young family came from Carlisle,
Cumbria or Cumberland which it was then, in UK.
