Please excuse my previous posting with the incorrect Subject lines :)

I am hoping someone else may have an interest in these members of my
family.

Robert MONTGOMERY married Ann ATKINSON in Lancashire, England 1837. Robert
was a Surgeon.

They arrived in S.A. 1839 on board the Sir Charles Forbes.

Robert and Ann resided in - Clarendon, Happy Valley, Echunga, New Glenelg.
Why did they move so much ? Are there any clues from these towns ? ?
Mines etc.
Ann died in 1849 = Happy Valley S.A.
Robert died in 1886 = Glenelg - buried at Happy Valley S.A.

Mary Ann 1839-1897
Richard Atkinson 1840- 1914
Louisa Rachel Mildred 1842-1911
Ann 1849-1918 my g.grandmother
Robert 1849-1818

If anyone has any information regarding Happy Valley or a site which may
give information I would appreciate the help. I have looked these places up
on the map but that does not help with the history of the area of course.
