Hi folks, it pays to keep a sense of humour doesnt it. Following my great
excitement I have learnt a few extra things which has taken the edge of my
great discovery, but I have also learnt enuf to know that I am definately on
the right track. It is a fantastic feeling and I thank everyone who has
shared in my tour of discovery for their support and/or look
ups/encouragment.

Following good advice received I contacted the SA Library and requested a
print out of the names of all the people called Jerkins, Haynes and Combe in
SA in 1841. Fantastic service, guess my lack of expertise showed and they
took pity on me cos less that 24 hours later I received an email with names.
but................. always a but.
The aunts have turned into older sisters and I still have questions.

I have however found a lady who may still be sister to Eliza Courtoy and I
need to ask if someone can do a look up for me.
If it is sister from London she was born 1812, parents William and
Elizabeth.

Charles Haynes, under 7 in 1841, parents John and Mary Ann - a birth look
up? Hoping his mother is named as Mary Ann Courtoy - fingers x'd

Death registrations - is this possible - for Mary Ann Haynes and John
Haynes - where and when.

thanks again Judy
