The Barrett's and O'Connor's are holding a family reunion at Tattersalls
Club Hotel, Pittsworth Qld on the 9th and 10th of March 2002.

The descendants of

John Joseph BARRETT married Catherine MCMAHON at Warwick, Qld.
Catherine died and John Joseph then married Margaret O'CONNOR - Warwick, Qld
then moved to Pittsworth, Qld
Bridget O'CONNOR married William BARRETT at Tenterfield, NSW but lived at
Warwick, Qld
Honora O'CONNOR's daughter Honora CURTIN married MAGUIRE - Mackay, Qld
James O'CONNOR who was living at Kyogle, NSW in 1926.

The O'Connor's are siblings all born in Co Clare, Ireland to John O'Connor
and Margaret Cotter.

There doesn't appear to be any family connection between John Joseph BARRETT
(parents William Barrett and Margaret Horrigan) and William BARRETT (parents
Thomas Barrett and Letitia McTamnay).

However, it is reported in John Joseph's obituary in 1914 that he had a
brother Daniel BARRETT living in NSW at the time. We do not have any leads
on this person at all.

If anyone has any connection to or knows anything of the above families, we
would love to hear from you - we still have a few gaps to fill.
