Yes. Qld State Archives has such an index. It is split into three sections:
Northern, Central, and Southern (different books), so you may need to check
all three. In each one, the names are grouped by first letter of surname. So
if you are looking for Smith (say), then you must look through all the "S"
entries for that year. Note that it is the year is determined by the date of
application for probate and not the date of death, so you may need to look
over a few years to be certain.

Although in theory, there is only a 30-year closure on probate documents, I
am not 100% sure if the indexing of all the Central probates is up-to-date.
