Greetings all,
Lots of my family seem to have been born in the H. Valley, or lived or married there so I'm hoping someone knows of a connection and can shed a bit more light on them...
JAMES BIRRELL and ELLEN PETRIE came from Scotland (Ceres, Fife) sometime before 1843
ANNE HEAN BIRRELL born 1843 Newcastle
married MAURICE PERRAU (b. Canada 1829) at Nundle 1877

WILLIAM WILLS born c1850 (don't know origin) married ELIZABETH CURRY 1875 Wallsend
THOMAS COLIN WILLS born Wallsend 1876
married ISABELLA BIRRELL PERRAU 1899 Plattsburg
VINA ISABEL WILLS born 1901 Plattsburg
married RAYMOND LEECH born 1901 Grahamstown

Any info at all about BIRRELL, CURRY, PERRAU or WILLS in the area would be welcomed as pure gold!!!
