My great grand parents Married in Mackay in 1874. They were Frederick James Mills and Fanny Quinn. Frederick was a Captain when they married and was from Ramsgate, Co. Kent in England. Fanny was Irish and was from Tipperary. Their children were born in Mackay -


Eva Maria 1878
Blanche 1886
Ruth Mary 1884 - married Frank Gorringe
Frances Julia 1879
Sydney Albert 1882
Violet Mary Joseph- 1876
Frederick James- 1877

So far I have not been even able to establish where or when they came into Australia as they first I have been able to establish is their marriage in 1874.

Any suggestion gratefully accepted.
