My name is Earlene Mendenhall Lyle, born in Prescott, AR in 1937. The
Mendenhalls were in Nevada County BEFORE there was a Nevada County. I have
listed only a few of the Mendenhall names; others include Billingsley,
Harrison, Shultz, Chambers, Norsworthy, Moon, Neighbors, Smith, Yates.

I was raised in Minden, Webster Parish, LA, but have lived the last 31 years
in Mobile, AL. Finding records on Arkansas relatives has been extremely
difficult since our libraries tend to stock records from surrounding areas,
such as MS, AL, and GA, and limited records on others. I'm having more luck
now since so many records are being posted on the internet.

I would like to hear from anyone on any of my family names.
