Hi, let me interject and change the subject.
About a month ago I sent to Little Rock of a death cert on my
Great grandmother.
She died according to a Cousin, in 1938 in Pope county. He was
born 1929 and does remember her and her death. She is buried in Rankin
Cemetary not far from my great grandfather. She proceeded him in death by about 20
years. Anyway,,,,,,
The records of Vital statistics sent a letter back saying they
could find no death record of her.
Ideas????
Would it behoove me to send a request under her maiden name???

I have been trying for years to find the names of her parents.
She was born in Alabama and moved to Arkansas with my great grandfather about
1930. My understanding they lived there Illinois, Pope county until her death
in 1938.
