I am at a standstill...not that it takes much to stand me still :)

I do not know where to look or what to do next to find info on Levi Garrison
Dollar and his wife Helena Pollick Dollar.

Levi was married several times (3 we can find), this Helena is the mother of
my grandmothers dad. It is like the do not exist. He also married an Emily
Vance, and there are no recorded children to them, but folklore has it that
there was a child and he left both of them.

Then he married a Sarah Elizabeth Burroughs.They had children. Then there
was Helena they had children, one which is my great grandfather. Since I
have been "looking" I was fortunate to find one of my great grandfathers
half brothers. His mother was Sarah. I grandmother remembers a little about
her.

But even he (and he has been at this longer than I) can't find info on
Helena and Levi.

Did you find the marriage for Levi and Mary E. Vance? If not it is November
07, 1875, Newton Co., Mississippi. I just found it this morning.

Also Emily Vance Dollar is buried in the same Cemetery as her father David
Vance.
ERIN CUMBERLAND PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH CEMETERY, NEWTON CO., MS. Emily Vance
Dollar, born June 1864. Died June 1940. Levi and Emily must have never
left Mississippi.
I don't know how much information you have, but just found Mary E. Vance
Dollar living with her mother, Margaret Vance, in 1920, Newton Co., MS.
Census states that Mary E. is divorced. Her daughter Martha S. age 42 is
also living with grandmother Margaret Vance. Margaret states that she
arrived in America in 1846.
