Hi DD,
The Woodmen of the World (WOW) has checked to see if they had a record of an
ancestor of mine ever having been a member.
My Arkansas ancestor was Champ LANGFORD, my GG-grandfather on my mother's side.
He's buried in the McDaniel Cemetery in Jonesboro, Craighead County. But I don't
know when he died. The date is't on his Confederate headstone.
My ALLENs came from England. They were in VA from the 1600s to 1801. From 1801 to
about the 1890s, they were in Dekalb Co., TN. Since the 1890s, they've been in TX.
