Hi,
Just an FYI: There is a terrific book called Map Guide to the U. S. Federal
Censuses, 1790-1920 by Thorndale & Dollarhide - published by GPC.
It contains maps for every state for each census and you can see how the
county lines have changed over the years. I bought it about 10 years ago but
I believe it is still in print.
