Good evening folks,

We've had a really busy week. We have totally re-done some of the units
and added some new ones! When we re-do unit pages we also add new
information that wasn't available before.

New units are:

11TH ARKANSAS INFANTRY REGIMENT (one of thse almost impossible to read
microfilm)
4th (McNair's) ARKANSAS INFANTRY REGIMENT
Redone units:
45TH ARKANSAS CAVALRY REGIMENT

and the "THE NEW ERA NEWSPAPER, FORT SMITH, ARKANSAS" donated to us by
FRAN WARREN whose newspaper articles from Van Buren, Arkansas are most
welcome by the entire state of Arkansas, TN and MO. This is a Union
Newspaper, and it is interesting to read abt the other side from the
mostly Confederate State.

Be sure to use the search engine to look for your soldier, and if you
find them, let me know and I will do a pension lookup and a "1911
Confederate Veterans Interviews".

If you know where your soldier is buried and hopefully his dates. of
birth and death, I will add them to the "Arkansas Confederate and Union
Soldier's Burial Place". Have a good search and do know we never mind
lookups and never charge for lookups. If you can't find your soldier
when you know he's suppose to be up there do let us know and a search
will be made for them.

Please note that Bryan has a NEW email address listed at the top of the
Civil War page. I will have a new one some time this next month. I'll
let you know! :-)

Some time after my change to a new server, I will be adding a picture
page for those who are lucky emough to have pictures of their ancestor.

Later,

Jeri, Edward G. Gerdes and Bryan R. Howerton
