Hi Emma,

Here is the article for the 1911 Arkansas Confederate Veterans Interview
for John Franklin O'Neal. I didn't find a pension on him, but you will
be happy to get this. :-D

ONEAL, John Franklin of Radcliff, was born Aug. 29, 1846 at
Winnsborough, Fairfield district, SC, the son of Chesley Oneal who lived
all his life in SC. and Sarah Ann McGraw, dau. of Marshall McGraqw of
SC. "Do not know my grandfather's first name. He came from Ireland. My
grandmother waas of Dutch descent." Subject was educated at Spring Hill,
Henpstead Co9., Arkl. He was a minister of the gospel and a farmer, a
Democrat, Missionary Baptist and a Mason. Enlisted in Co. C, Monroe's
R4egt. Caball's Brigaade, at Washington, Ark. served 9 months and was
paroled at Washington, Ark. Married Cclara Offord Smith, dqau of
Grandison and Ann Smith on Nov. 24, 1872.

11. Sample Manley Oneal (6 thru 11 all single and at home)
