My gr grandfather; WILLIAM PITCHFORD STONE , came to AR after serving in
the 28th Al Inf.
He is said to have applied for his pension in AR, along with his brothers
Francis A and James
who came with him. Is it correct that they need to be looked for in AR even
if they served in
AL units? someone said the place to look was where they applied for the
pension... true?

Wm and Francis were both 28th Al. Do not have James ' unit.
