Dear List,

I am looking for information on my Great Great Grandfather Sam Minor/Miner, c.a. after 1844. My Great Grandfather was married to Harriet Taylor. His parent's names were George Minor/Miner and Louiza Mack. They had 14 children, the youngest my Grandmother Alabama was born in Louisiana - they eventually settled in LouAnn, AR (Ouachita County). Grandpa Sam was 11 years old when the slaves were freed - I have reason to believe that the plantation that Grandpa Sam lived was near the LouAnn, AR (Ouachita County Area)

Looking for any slave records or any information about the slave owner of Grandpa Sam if possible.
