Is there anyone out there could look up a census listing. So far have had no
luck in tracing my ancestor James Foster. Here are all the details I have to
date. James Foster died in Helena Arkansas in July 1868 as a result of
exposure during the Civil War when he fought for the Confederates. The
additional info I now have since I last wrote to the list is that he had a
son called Willburtis. No mention of a wife or year of birth of the son.
James went to USA in 1851 sailing from Liverpool ,England. He actually came
from Uppingham, England and his parents were John and Elizabeth (nee Gamble)
Foster. Hope someone can help. I live in Wales UK and feel so far away from
any information. Thanks
