I hope this is not off topic too much, but reading a recent posting made me so curious, I have to ask. A 1900 obit says that a George Phillips died of a hehemorrage of the lungs and bowels. Does anyone know what disease this would be? I know that in those days they guessed at a lot of deaths, but I can't figure this one out.
