I am new to this list. I am hoping someone has information about a ggrandmother (Elizabeth)I just found. The following entry was in the Arkansas 1850 census:

Newman, Allen C. 26
Elizabeth 26
James R. 5
Mary Jane 4
William 2
Amanda M. 5/12 TN/TN dwg 485, Missouri twp. Clark Co.

Elizabeth married Thomas Drake in 1859 in Rutherford County, TN. I am told he had a daughter names Zola Drake who later married William (Bill) Newman.

Any information will be appreciated. I will be glad to share my records.
