Thanks to all who responded to my query. My grandmother was Alma Elza
Jones. She married Rufus Taylor Thrash from Pike County. She was born
October 27, 1899. Her father was William Andrew Jones, son of Nancy
Kathyrn Hulsey and Joseph Jones and her mother was Dora Lee Tucker,
daughter of William Martin and Mary Jane Tucker. She had a sister, Thelma
Ethel Jones that married Ed Ray of Pike County. Both Alma and Thelma
attended a school that was located near the Ebenezer Cemetery. They are
both buried in the Ebenezer Cemetery. Does any one have information on
what school this might have been? Would there be any records? Thanks
