Hi Pam,
I know that our Ellis line lived in Clark County between 1880 and 1900,
maybe longer. There are 2 Samuel Ellis families, listed in the census
records. I think one is probably the father and the other is the son, but
I'm not sure. The younger one had children named Phineas, Louise, Josie,
William, Todd and an unnamed daughter, in the 1900 census. The younger
Samuel was born in 1854. If you have an index in your info, and run across
these guys, could you let me know? I'd like to try to track his descendants
and maybe be able to contact them.
