Hope this is not too long. I would like to find out if there is a message
board for Harnage--I can't find one. Hope some one can help.
Would like to know info about Loretta Harnage's line. Loretta Harnage
married my great grandfather Samuel Gilbreath. Her parents were Ann E. Bobo
Ray b. 2/11/ 1802 Booneville, Missouri. She died 2/26/ 1873 buried at Union
Cemetery, Cincinnati, Arkansas Her name then was Ann E. Fine (her third
husband) Other sources say Ann E. came from Georgia and Mr. Washington (her
husband took her to Booneville, Missouri where he taught high school. They
had 2 boys (Charlie & George Washington) and he had 4 boys by a previous
marriage (James "Jimmy Alonzo, Leonadus "Leon" , Lafayette died age 13 and
John Washington.). Mr. Washington, Ann E.'s first husband died in 1830's.
Ann's 2nd marriage was to George Ambrose "Amos" Harnage (Loretta's father).
"Amos" died in the 1850's before Loretta was grown. Ann E. then married
David Fine. (her 3rd husband)

"Amos" Harnage had previously been married to an Indian or part Indian girl
and his father had disinherited him.
There were 8 previous children born to Harnage before he married Ann E. Bobo
1. William "Bill"--had daughter Betty Williams. Betty had 3 sons--George
Jim and
Will. Will is buried in Westville, Oklahoma
2. Nancy who married Jack Bell
3. Jim Hall Harnage--chief of police in Calif. Still living in 1974
4. Dixie --lived in Calif.
5. Pauline (died young)
6. Ruth married Robert E. Lee--not living in 1974
7. John Harnage
8. Cussus Lafette Harnage.
Ann E. Bobo's 3rd husband was David Fine. David was the son of Johnesan
Fine, who was a cabinet maker. Some one said David b. 3 March 1812 d. 24 Apr.
1855 Cincinnati, Arkansas but there is a D. Fine who d. 29 Apr 1885 buried in
Old Union Cemetery in Cincinnati, Arkansas and there is also Anna E. Fine who
died 26 Feb. 1873--my relative.
Hope to hear from anyone that knows about these people.
