Ed, I have had no trouble finding her in the 1894 city dir with her husband
who until he died in 1894
was the Captain in charge of the U S Army Corps of Engineering office in
Little Rock. That office tells me his portrait hangs in their office.
They also say they have a collection of city dirs if anyone is interested .
I am in Ga, have made 6 trips to Ark, East and West and will no longer be
able to do that again.
Libbie is found also in the dirs for the late 1920s, in the Laman Library. I
would love to get someone to make copies of those directories there, and
possibly a newpaper lookup for her other than her obit.
I wish I knew what she looked like. the Army sent me his picture from a book
they have.
I will try the Laman Library again.
Thanks for the address.
