Dear Historic Preservationists:

The cemetery bill (HB2263) that Rep Pace filed for us, was amended last
weekend. You can see the amended version here:

A lot of changes have been made, but the main goal to protect the cemeteries
remains the same. Please take some time and review this. We will probably
go to committee on this next week, maybe Wednesday. I will be leaving from
Harrison, so if anyone in that vicinity wants to go, please let me know. I
will be glad to pick you up. Pat Perona will be leaving from Benton County,
if someone needs a ride from there, please give her a call at 479-248-1350.

The committee it will go before will be City, County & Local Affairs. The
members and their email addresses are listed below. Please try to contact
these people and show support for HB2263. If we do not get it past this
committee, it will die.
