Gwen,

Hi and thanks for writing. Tim is my husband and I use his email when I
post to different groups as they do not accept messages from a Hotmail
account.

Joseph Wiley Small is my line. He was married to 3 different wives. He
was born Feb 1829 possibly in Harris Co., GA and died 28 Aug 1906 in
Garland Co., AR. He apparently was in AR just before the Civil War as
this is where he signed up.

I know a lot about he and his family but do not know too much about his
parents or siblings. From what we can figure out his parents were born
in SC and a few of his siblings were born in SC, AL and GA. Have bits
and pieces on his siblings etc. and do not know if any went to MO.

The family was known to have lived in Clark, Montgomery, Hot
Spring,Garland and Yell Counties.

At this time there does not seem to be a connection between your Small's
and mine but you never know.

Before your group was in MO do you know where they actually were from?

Are you a member of the Small Group? Have you ever emailed Jim Small
who is the coordinator of the list? If not I have an address for him.

If you need some help on your line I would be happy to see what I can
do. Just need a little more information.

Vickie
