OLD MAN HLC HITS VAN BUREN DOCTORS

The work of the old man H C L[high cost of living] has at last got in his work on the Van Buren doctors and they have been forced to raise their rates for professional services, in keeping with the times. The members of the medical fraternity in Van Buren have been operating under the same old fees that have been in vogue for many years and in order to protect their rights and keep up the excellent standard of efficiency they have attained necessarily demands that they raise on their rates.

In the future the following charges will be made by the medical men: Day visits $3.00; visits after 9 p m, $5.00; obstetric work, $25.00; calls at office, $2.00.
