Let's not take these old timers too lightly.
They were made of stern stuff.
My grandmother bore 15--9 boys and 6 girls.
The first child, a little girl, fell into the fire at the washpot at age
3 and died from her burns.
All the others survived to marry, and all but one of those had children;
one of the older girls had 10 and raised them all.
At my grandmother's funeral, there were 104 persons present descended
from her body.
Best wishes,
Ed
