John & Dot,
The _Arkansas Gazette_ has been published in AR since 1819.
It is indexed from 1819-1899.
It is all on microfilm and the spools you need (Index or text) can be
obtained through InterLibrary Loan from your nearest Branch Family
History Library of the Church of Jesus Christ (Mormon), or your local
city or county library. You can read the film for free on the microfilm
reader of the library which obtains it for you.
Best wishes,
Ed
