Hi all,
I've just completed pages for "War Diary of a Union Woman in the South,"
originally published in 1889. The pages include:
Secession
The Volunteers - Fort Sumter
Tribulation
A Beleaguered City
Married
How It Was In Arkansas
The Fight For Food And Clothing
Drowned Out And Starved Out
Homeless And Shelterless
Frights And Perils In Steele's Landing
Wild Times In Mississippi
Vicksburg
I will also be adding pages for "A Woman's Diary of the Siege of
Vicksburg," authored by the same woman and published in 1885.
I've completed the "Reminiscences of the War Between the States in
Crawford County, Arkansas" pages. There are 7 different "stories."
They include such things as bushwhackers, the hardships of the women and
children, murders, bad characters on both sides, burning of steamboats
and towns and more.
All of these are available at:

Other recent additions include
Battle of Pea Ridge with over 60 web pages at
http://stellar-one.com/civil_war/battle_of_pea_ridge.htm
The American Civil War in Arkansas at
