I am looking for information on Beverly Young. He was supposedly a Captain under Douglas Cooper in the Civil War. He was married to Martha Elizabeth Jacobs.
We know he was in the civil war and lived right outside Fort Smith.
We also know he was married in Scott County Arkansas 3 years before the Civil War started and that he volunteered on the first of March, 1861.
I have no idea where else to search. Can anyone help?
