Hi Cindy,

I found a N.P. MERRITT that served with Co. K, 1st. Ark. Inf. He applied
for his pension in 1909 from Calhoun Co. AR. Unfortunately, this is the
only N.Merritt that I could find.

This info. was obtained from the "Index to Arkansas Confederate Pension
Applications". It's possible he didn't qualify for a pension, therefore,
he wouldn't be listed.
