Be sure to check all names in the cemetery. I knew that a 4th gr-uncle,
J.C. Hargis, was buried in the national cemetery in Springfield, MO, but
couldn't find him. I began looking through over the list and came
across a J.C. Harkinesse with the same death date. I haven't proven
that they are the same person yet, but am in the process of gathering
evidence through military and cemetery records. I am almost positive
that I will be able to prove that this is the burial site of J.C.
Hargis.
Good luck,
Ann Marie
