Caleb W. Manley served in Co. F, Lieut. Col. John A. Schnable's Battalion
Missouri Cavalry, CSA. Although this was officially considerered to be a
Missouri unit, it included a large number of men from northern Arkansas. Company
F was raised primarily in Marion County, Arkansas. Schnable's Battalion served
in Jackman's Cavalry Brigade, Shelby's Cavalry Division, Trans-Mississippi Army.
